Extractora Juros-AI product
// a Kofax alternative

Want a Kofax alternative? Read invoices deterministically, on your own machine.

Kofax — now Tungsten Automation — builds a full enterprise capture and automation platform. But if what you actually need is accurate invoice reading — installed like an app, running on-premise, unable to hallucinate a figure — without a platform project or an enterprise contract, here's the honest difference.

If you need accurate invoice reading, on-premise, running today — without a configuration project or a contract to sign — that's the gap Extractor fills.*Reflects Kofax / Tungsten Automation's publicly documented product design — Kofax Capture and TotalAgility are configured and trained per process; newer products incorporate generative AI — and directional, quote-gated enterprise pricing. Extractor's figures are our own tested results — about 99.7% on line-item numbers across 170+ real invoices, digital and scanned files alike. No spin. They're genuinely different tools — pick by the job in front of you.

choose Kofax if

You need a capture & automation platform

Many document types beyond invoices, complex classification, RPA and workflow orchestration, deep integrations delivered as a project, and the budget and timeline for an enterprise rollout. That's what a full platform is for.

choose Extractor if

You need invoices read, now

Accurate invoice reading specifically — on your own machine the same afternoon, deterministic so it can't invent a total, with no per-vendor setup and no five-figure contract. Exports clean Excel, CSV or JSON.

// questions

Kofax alternative — the honest answers.

Is Extractor a drop-in replacement for Kofax?

For invoice extraction, yes — it reads the parties, line items and totals on-premise with no configuration project. It is not a full capture and automation platform, so if you need broad document classification, RPA, workflow orchestration and a services-led integration, a platform like Kofax is the better fit.

Does it need configuration or training per process?

No. It finds the table by its headings and reads each field by its label, so an invoice layout it has never seen works on the first try — nothing to configure or train.

Can it run on-premise like Kofax?

Yes, and fully air-gapped if you want. Reading and OCR run on the machine and nothing is uploaded — there's no cloud component in the path.

Can it hallucinate a value like an AI reader?

No. Figures are lifted off the page by deterministic rules, not generated by a model — so a value the page doesn't state is never invented. Anything doubtful is flagged for a person to settle.
